During the first Report & Retreat Meeting of the ICIPS research unit (FOR 5098) which took place in Villa Denis between Thursday 6th and Saturday 8th of October, it has been decided by all PhD students that the second BIOINFORMATICS Workshop will be about Visualization Data using R Studio and organised again by the ICIPS-Z2-Group (Oliver Rupp).
All ICIPS PhD students took part to the BIOINFORMATICS Workshop from Wednesday 28th (midday) to Friday 30th (midday) of September at JLU University and learned from Oliver Rupp and his colleagues of the Department of “Bioinformatics & Systems Biology” a lot about RNA Seq. Analysing.
Additional non-ICIPS PhD students and postdoctoral researchers from ICIPS working groups participated to this interesting workshop too (PhD students: Dominik Lotz (JLU), Lara Canovai (OU) & Dr. Andrea Busch (OU)).
The future BIOINFORMATICS Workshop will take place from Wednesday 28th (midday) to Friday 30th (midday) of September on the JLU Campus and will be about RNA Seq. Analysing !!
During the first PIs Meeting of the ICIPS research unit (FOR 5098) which took place online (due to Covid-regulations) on Tuesday 8th of March from 15:00 to 17:00, it has been decided that:
- The future BIOINFORMATICS Workshop of the ICIPS research unit (FOR 5098) will take place in face-to-face mode on the Campus of the Justus-Liebig University in Gießen (date to determine).
- The first BIOINFORMATICS Workshop will be either about Statistics with R or about RNA Seq Analysing and organised by the ICIPS-Z2-Group.
