The opportunity is given to all young ICIPS scientists (PhD students & Postdoctoral researchers) to learn from each ICIPS working group by visiting the different laboratories and to train himself / learn about how to manipulate / modify genetically the new different plant models of each ICIPS working group (p. ex., Physcomitrium, Ceratopteris, Marchantia).
Depending on the needs of certain ICIPS members and of the research projects / collaborations, visits to the different ICIPS laboratories can be organized. During these visits, interested ICIPS members are going to stay on site for several days in order to learn (by doing) how to genetically modify and/or propagate certain of our new plant models.
These visits will also be used to share (plant, vector, protocol, …) materials and to reinforce internal ICIPS collaborations.
